Control the entry → Clarify → Verify authorization → Follow site procedure → Record or report when required.
observe the person and direction → radio the exact information → coordinate with backup or supervisor → maintain post security → follow the site's unauthorized-entry procedure.
May iba't ibang legitimate access arrangements:
- sariling access card;
- visitor pass;
- escort authorization;
- approved guest list;
- contractor clearance;
- temporary access;
- group or event authorization;
- confirmation mula sa authorized host o personnel.
Kaya ang tunay na tanong ay hindi:
“May sariling swipe ba lahat?”
Republic Act No. 11917 recognizes access control/denial as part of private security services for securing an establishment, building, compound, area, or property and protecting persons within it.
- site SOP;
- post orders;
- AOR;
- agency policy;
- client policy;
- access-control system;
- authorized visitor or escort rules;
- instructions ng proper authority.

Kung Nasa Pinto Pa ang Pangalawang Tao
Kung napansin mo habang nasa controlled entry point pa at kaya pang i-handle nang maayos:
2. Clarify kung sino ang pangalawang tao
Employee ba?
Visitor?
Contractor?
Guest?
May valid escort arrangement ba?
3. Verify gamit ang authorized process
Depende sa site, maaaring kailangan:
- access credential;
- visitor pass;
- approved list;
- host confirmation;
- admin verification;
- contractor permit;
- ibang prescribed authorization.
4. Proceed ayon sa result
Kung verified, follow the normal entry procedure.
Kung hindi ma-verify, follow the site's procedure for holding or denying access and coordinate with the authorized supervisor or personnel when necessary.
Denying or controlling access is different from automatically physically detaining a person.
Huwag gawing physical confrontation ang simpleng verification issue kung wala namang immediate safety reason o proper basis.
Paano Kung Nakapasok Na Bago Mo Napansin?
Kung walang immediate emergency requiring another response, a practical sequence can be:
Observe → Radio → Coordinate → Maintain post security → Continue monitoring when practical.
I-report nang malinaw:
- exact location;
- description;
- direction of movement;
- kasama niya;
- time observed;
- available access information;
Paano Kung Tumanggi Magpa-verify?
Kung sinabi ng tao:
“Kasama naman ako.”
“Kilala niya ako.”
“Hindi ko kailangan magpakita.”
Stay calm.
- mang-agaw ng gamit;
- manghalughog;
- gumamit ng force;
- mag-detain;
- date at time;
- exact access point;
- credential or access event observed, kung authorized kang makita ito;
- description ng second person;
- direction of movement;
- verification attempt;
- response ng person;
- sino ang na-notify;
- instructions received;
- action taken;
- final known status.
Iwasan ang conclusion na:
“Unauthorized person siya.”
kung hindi pa verified.
Mas objective:
“A second individual entered through the access-controlled door immediately after the authorized cardholder. No separate authorization for the second individual had been confirmed at the time of observation.”
Facts muna.
Conclusion only when supported.
Common Mistakes
2. “Walang sariling swipe, unauthorized agad.”
Hindi rin automatic. May sites na gumagamit ng escort, visitor pass, group authorization, o ibang approved process.
3. Hahabulin agad kahit iiwan ang critical post.
Assess post security and use coordination.
4. Ginawang confrontation ang verification.
Verification is the objective. Escalation depends on behavior and facts.
5. Walang record pagkatapos ng reportable access gap.
Kung may required documentation, record the facts, notification, at action taken.
Tandaan
Control → Clarify → Verify → Proceed or Escalate
Kung nakapasok na:
Observe → Radio → Coordinate → Maintain post security → Follow procedure
Hindi ito pagiging sobrang higpit.
Consistent access verification helps protect the premises—and protects the guard from having to explain later why an unverified entry was allowed to pass.
